I clearly haven't been updating this blog much, but following the previous post, I've recently been awarded a Desmos Teaching Fellowship. I'll receive an expenses paid trip to Desmos.com headquarters in San Francisco in November, and an opportunity to help them develop their teaching applications.
Since our students are 1 to1 with Chromebooks, I've been using both the pre-made, and the custom Desmos activities in all of my classes. Last January, I presented a workshop to a group of colleagues on using the activities. Here's the presentation and the PPT. Most of my math colleagues now use Desmos.com in some way or another.
Hopefully more updates to come!
